"When we first agreed to have
Roz keep an eye on Harry and Cami during the day, we didn't
appreciate the effect she would have on them, and on us.
Harry and Cami have very much grown up with Roz as an integral part
of their lives. Through her playgroups they've learned to
become socialized to all kinds of dogs, especially those who are
much bigger than they are (they're brother and sister long-haired
dachshunds). Roz' house is a home away from home for
them, and they probably feel they're somehow actually related to
Roz' two lovable labrador retrievers, Max and Humphrey.
Roz doesn't just provide a service, she's really a
member of the family. We rely on her for advice on how
to treat issues as they arise. We trust her experience and
sense of what's best for the dogs, as we know she loves them as much
as we do. I love coming home and looking forward to Roz'
wonderful notes relating what happened that day, and what adventures

every chance I get! After two years of using both her
playgroup and boarding services, I am exceedingly pleased. She
is wonderful with our black lab Jeter, who always has a fantastic
time with Roz and the other dogs, as evidenced by his eager
anticipation of her arrival and his subsequent 5 hour nap after he
is dropped off. And traveling is made easier knowing that we
are boarding him in good hands and a comfortable home (complete with
Doggy Door!).
But what I really
want to comment on is her flawless reliability. In two years,
Roz has a perfect track record of picking up Jeter when she is
supposed to. With an unpredictable schedule, we are forced to
frequently adjust the days he attends playgroup. Roz has been
extremely flexible and has never missed a day. That
reliability, along with the knowledge that Jeter is having a great
time and getting healthy exercise, brings a peace of mind that is
invaluable. We truly appreciate the great job she

Paws By Roz has done wonders for
our dog, Mitzy. When we first brought Mitzy home in November
2005 she had separation anxiety and was a bit timid. After
sending her with Roz and Pam for playgroup, Mitzy is now more
confident and relaxed. She does not cry when we leave for work
anymore because she knows she will spend time with her
friends at playgroup! I race home from work to read the funny
and entertaining notes left by Pam and Roz about what Mitzy did
today.....it is like a puppy soap opera! My husband and I
have benefited greatly from this service because we do not worry
about leaving Mitzy at home alone while we are at work.
Pam and Roz have even kept Mitzy out of the house for us while
a RE Agent showed our condo - what great service!

Roz and Pam have been taking care of our family of three cats
and two guinea pigs for over two years and I can't say enough about
how great they've been. Not only are they very responsive to e-mails
and calls, but they even leave us a daily journal of how our animals
were and what happened at each visit! I also was relieved to
know that they will continue to check on our pets until we call them
to say we've returned. So no worries if we get delayed somewhere.

Ollie, the basset hound, has benefited from Paws by Roz
because it allows him to socialize with other dogs, break up his
otherwise boring day alone in the house and get some exercise.
Consequently, Ollie is very good with all other dogs and people and
he has kept his weight
under control. Once Ollie started
going to day care it also reduced his separation anxiety episodes
that we noticed each morning before we left to work. Ollie now
seems to have more confidence and is more relaxed
when we
leave. He is a happier dog.

Each day, we receive a lengthy "diary" entry
about our two dogs, Oscar and Shakespeare. Yee tells us what
kind of mood they were in, how they responded to her, whether they
basked in the sunshine or ran around our
yard. It's
amazing! We've kept all the entries as a sort of history of
our two basset hounds. Our dogs adore her -- on vacations,
around noontime, they begin to get a little restless as they wait
for her. They just love her, and it's easy to see
why.
